FAQ's 1. When is the service going to be open? ANSWER: As soon as we hire drivers and a manager for the delivery area. We estimate this to be early August 2007. We will be offering delivery for a limited number of restaurant in a limited delivery area. We are also in the process of signing up new restaurants so feel free to recommend us to your favorite restaurant. 2. How much will the service cost? ANSWER: We will only charge a $4.99 delivery charge in addition to the normal menu prices advertised by the restaurant. If you request items from multiple restaurants, there will be a $4.99 delivery charge for each additional restaurant. Gratuity will not be included, so please tip your mobile waiter accordingly. Be on the look out for an email coupon for "Free Delivery" so that you can try our service at no charge. 3. How long does delivery take? ANSWER: Good question! The answer is typically 45 to 60 minutes. Why that long? Typically it takes about 5 minutes for you to place the order, 5 minutes for us to place the order with the restaurant, 15 to 20 minutes for the restaurant to prepare the order, 15 minutes for the driver to deliver to your location (and we give a 15 minute cusion in case of bad weather, traffic or long cook times at the restaurant). So basically, we should be there in less than an hour. 4. How can management be reached? ANSWER: Just email Alex at DeliverEats@Yahoo.com with your questions . 5. Do you do Corporate Catering? ANSWER: YES! Not only do we do catering, we do it well. Our background is in corporate catering, prior to being in the restaurant delivery service. Feel free to contact us, tell us how many people you have and what type of cuisine and budget you desire, and we'll get you take it from there. 6. Do you offer invoicing? ANSWER: Yes! We have a general application you are required to fill out, and we invoice you for your purchases. Business accounts are payable upon receipt. 7. When will you open other areas? ANSWER: As soon as we can. All we have to do is sign up the restaurants and hire the drivers and we're in business. Drop us an email or talk to your local restaurants and maybe we can make your area a priority. 8. Is this a franchise or family owned? ANSWER: Yes, this business is owned and operated by the Martinez family. Although this is a start-up business, we are using software and operational systems that have proved to be successful in 35 other markets. Customer service is our priority so if you have any questions or concerns, please use the suggestion or comment box at the bottom of this page. 9. What if I want to purchase food for someone else, like as a gift? ANSWER: We offer gift certificates that can be used for delivery from any of the restaurants that are in the recipients delivery area. Our gift certificates come in increments of $10 and they are the perfect gift for any occassion. Please make sure we deliver to the person you are buying for before you purchase the certificate. 10. Are you hiring? ANSWER: Yes! We will be hiring drivers continually throughout the year to handle our growth. Our drivers must have good driving records, good customer service skills, and be willing to work some weekends. Drivers average $10 to $14 per hour.
